Android 3.0 Rumors Take Off - willisprosevorce81

That didn't take long: Android 2.2 just started cargo ships this week, simply rumors of the upcoming Android 3.0 release have already emerged.

Speculation on Google's next major release of Android, code-named Gingerbread, comes from Russian site Unwiredview, which has had some scoops before. All the same, in that respect is no official word from Google, and then take it wholly with a grain of SALT.

According to the site, Android 3.0 would arrive in mid-October, with the low handsets transportation eventually for the holiday season, around November operating theater December.

Android 3.0 would also introduce a new set of minimum hardware requirements, comprehensive a 1-GHz processor, 512MB of RAM memory, and displays no smaller than 3.5 inches. High resolutions of capable 1280 by 760 pixels would likewise be available for devices with displays larger than 4 inches.

If true, the minimum requirements North Korean won't mean that all new Android phones will make up power-horses. Unwired says that Google intends to split Android into two branches: high-death devices running version 3.0, and low-end devices spurting 2.1/2.2.

Last, but not least, Unwiredview claims that Google would get a "completely revamped user port" to Android 3.0 (atomic number 3 heard with former rumors from TechCrunch).

There aren't whatever specific details on the improvements, only the site says the interface across the Osmium would be similar to the Gallery app on the Nexus One (video). If Android 3.0 UI is good enough, hopefully manufacturers won't develop their own interfaces, the main point of software update delays to to the highest degree Android phones.
